This paper was presented in a seminar about "Domestic Violence and Ways to Prevent It" at the forensic medicine department in Damascus university, in cooperation of the Forensic Medicine Institution- Hamburg/ Germany. The essay shows the interpositions which were presented. The essay tackled different aspects of this issue. Also it criticize clerics attitude. Those clerics make a confrontation between religion and facing domestic violence, especially violence against women.
